I hit a football-sized piece of concrete on 471 that bent and cracked my rim. My new tire wouldn't seal, so I brought my wheel here needing a quick fix before the weekend. They had it back to me in one day and put the new tire on. I can't even tell there was ever any damage. These guys do great work for $100. Drop your busted wheel off and come pick it up when they call. It's that simple.

Important information about wheel repair!

In reference to bend and crack repair, several more issues arise.
First: Bend repairs do not require hammers, hitting a wheel back into round is a joke. Striking an aluminum wheel with a hammer leads to fractures in the grain structure of the aluminum and leads to cracks.
Do not Hit Wheels with hammers!
Second: Over heating the wheel in the bend repair area. Wheels are heat treated from the factory and any heat in excess of 400+ degrees will soften the wheel in that area and lead to it re-bending in the future.
Third: Not repairing the bends in the wheel and just welding a crack.....don't do it!! The wheel cracked because of the bend and If you just weld up the crack its a band-aid, not a repair. If you choose to have a crack repaired the wheel has to be perfectly round also or the crack repair will fail, and possibly create more cracks.

Bend and Crack Repairs

Many wheel repair businesses try to fix aluminum alloy wheels using steel wheel technology. This doesn’t work and usually causes even worse damage to the wheel. They also assume aluminum wheels can simply be “hammered” or “pounded” out.  Neither is true.
Rims get bent and cracked every day by impacts, usually caused by potholes or curbs. We use our own proprietary technology, which uses small amounts of heat, hydraulic pressure, customized tools and metallurgical skill to straighten aluminum alloy wheels to factory specifications. Our process is both an art and a science.
Although several different techniques now exist for straightening alloy wheels, our proprietary process is superior in several ways; methods that repair the wheel at room temperature typically leave the affected area weaker than before, while our technique using small amounts of heat never above 300 degrees has a metallurgical effect on the alloy that is similar to forging, strengthening the affected area slightly.
Our technology allows us to straighten wheels up to 22” in diameter of all types and styles. We can often straighten difficult bends with cracks in the center of the bend that other straightening "machines" cannot. We straighten all types of auto wheel, including factory wheels and aftermarket wheels.
It is almost always easier to bend a wheel on the inside because there are no spokes to support the wheel edge. This can make the bend difficult to find without removing the wheel and checking the inside.
